This motor works well with an Aerojet style model, that is a 48 inch, 42 oz middle wing aerobatic design.
The model flys fast with a fairly good climb rate. This would also work well with something like the Balsa Craft war bird series
This brushless
motor works great in my Cougar 2000 and should be OK
in any of the standard funflys e.g Limbo Dancer.
It will prop hang and accelerate vertically out of the hover.
My Cougar weighs 4 lbs, which is very similar to the
expected IC weight. Performance is similar to an IC version with less duration.
The motor and 70 amp Hacker controller I used are available from
Weston UK.
This is the site for the motor
FlyWare which is mainly in German.
The original amateur site which these motors are based on is at

I used this motor in FVK Absolute hotliner. It will climb
vertically ,but the fastest climb is probably at about 70 degrees. 5-8 secs will get you as high as you want.
The model weighs 60 oz, for info see here
